ABOUT THE AUTHOR
As a child, Brooke Davis loved climbing trees, building cubbies and watching thunderstorms roll in. As an adult, she now also enjoys observing bees collect pollen, growing her own food and sharing cups of tea with friends. In real life though, she is more often found being a snack slave to her children, reheating her cups of tea and cultivating more weeds than food in her overgrown garden.
Previous to publishing her first book in 2019, Brooke founded and ran the award-winning outdoor nature play program called Wild Imagination.
There is one fundamental question that drives her to create nature play books:
How are children going to care about the environment and look after our planet if they spend a decreasing amount of time connecting to nature?
She has published five books and has plans for many more. She hopes her books will spread the joy of nature play and inspire children to develop an authentic and long-lasting connection with nature.
