We ship nationwide including PO Boxes and Waiheke Island. Pick up available for Bay of Plenty customers.

All free shipping order amounts are after any discounts are applied and exclude OVERSIZE items.
Please select the correct shipping option for which island you are in. Your order will be delayed if the correct delivery shipping option hasn’t been selected. We will invoice you for the correct shipping amount and dispatch upon payment.

DELIVERY INFORMATION
- All NZ orders are sent using Courier Post overnight tracked service with signature on delivery. Please note deliveries to the South Island, rural addresses and Waiheke Island can take up to 2-3 days longer.
- There may also be additional delivery delays due to the pandemic affecting couriers nationwide - once a parcel has been picked up, this is unfortunately outside of our control and we thank you for your understanding and patience.
- We aim to dispatch orders within 2 business days. Currently we hand pack every order ourselves and during sales or peak times, dispatch will take longer than usual. Please allow up to 3-4 days on these occasions and be patient while we will pick, pack and ship your order as soon as possible.
- If you have special instructions for delivery or if your order is urgent, please leave us notes in the order comments when checking out.
- You will be emailed a shipping confirmation with tracking once your order has been collected and scanned in to the courier network. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking to become available.
- We do not ship on public holidays or weekends, so any orders placed on a Friday afternoon/Saturday/Sunday will go out the following Monday.
- Please make sure you enter your shipping address correctly as once it has been received, and your product is dispatched we cannot alter the address, and you will be charged the standard applicable postage rate for us to resend. We will not be held responsible for un-delivered orders due to incorrect delivery details.
- We aim to be fair when it comes to shipping rates for small items at our discretion. If someone has ordered only a couple of postcards or one piece of felt then we send these small, light items at the best rate possible and refund extra shipping paid.

TAURANGA PICK UP
- We offer free pick up for local Tauranga orders from Papamoa Beach. Simply select the 'Pick Up' option at the checkout and we will notify you when it's ready with instructions on where and when to collect.
- Please note that as we are an online business we don't have a shop front, so do contact us first or wait until you receive your pick up email notification to make sure we have your order ready!

DAMAGED OR MISSING PARCELS
- Please open and inspect the contents of your parcel within 24 hours of receiving it.
- Once your items have been shipped, they become your property and responsibility. If a product arrives damaged, or is misplaced, it is your responsibility to liaise with New Zealand Post or the shipping agent responsible.
- No refunds or replacements will be given for products missing or damaged in transit. We will however provide you with all the necessary information to make your claim.
- You must notify NZ Post of the damage within 3 days of delivery so they can initiate a claim investigation.
- Please keep ALL damaged items and the packaging as the couriers may need to recollect them for the claim.

AUSTRALIA SHIPPING RATES
- Flat rate shipping for under 1.5kg parcels is charged at $38 NZD
- Parcels over 1.5kg - we will be in contact to advise correct cost based on weight

AUSTRALIA DELIVERY INFORMATION
- Due to minimal international flights please be aware that all international deliveries have major delays. Please keep this in mind when ordering.
- There will be no credits or refunds for delayed items; these delays are outside of our and our carriers’ control.
- All Australian parcels are sent with tracking. Once they arrive in Australia, tracking and delivery become the responsibility of the local postal service.
- The AusPost website provides more accurate tracking updates than NZ Post once your parcel arrives in Australia. Simply put your tracking number into this search:

- Please be aware purchaser is liable for any additional taxes/import duty that may incur during transit and/or on delivery. We do not offer refunds if you refuse the package due to customs charges. Please note shipments can often be held by customs for long periods of time, unfortunately this is beyond our control. Please ensure you are aware of the cost of these fees before you make your purchase.

WORLDWIDE SHIPPING
- Due to COVID international shipping rates have become increasingly high and there are delays in delivery.
- Flat rate shipping for under 1.5kg parcels is charged at $85 NZD
- Parcels over 1.5kg - we will be in contact to advise correct cost based on weight.
- We're happy to provide more accurate shipping quotes for countries further afield than Australia.
- Please contact us, with a list of the items you are looking to purchase and your delivery address.
- We use NZ Post International tracked service. We can give quotes using their cheaper standard international parcel service, but please note this is not tracked or insured and is at the customers own risk.

WRONG ITEM SENT
- While we take extra care when packing each order, occasionally we do make mistakes.
- If you have received the wrong item or size please contact us at tanglewoodtoysnz@gmail.com and we will send out the correct item and arrange for the return of the incorrect item at our cost of course.

FAULTY ITEM
- Sorry to hear this! Should an item be faulty, please contact us immediately by emailing tanglewoodtoysnz@gmail.com with your name, order number and details of the fault including a photo.
- Faulty item claims must be emailed to us within 14 days of receiving the goods so please inspect them when they arrive.
- Returns of faulty items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when delivered to you. Damage due to use is not considered a fault.
- We will email you a pre-paid courier label via email to send the faulty item back to us. Please clearly state if you require a refund or a replacement. If the item purchased is out of stock or no longer available then you will be offered a full refund to the value of the item at time of purchase and shipping costs incurred.
- If you are purchasing in advance for a gift please inspect the item(s) when you receive the delivery.
- Note: if the problem is due to courier damage you MUST notify NZ Post of the damage within 3 days of you receiving the goods so they can initiate a claim investigation
- Note: some items are handmade so slight variances in measurements, colours and designs are to be expected and these variances are not considered faults.
- Warranties typically cover "manufacturing defects" and do not cover "wear and tear". "Wear and tear" is damage incurred during normal and intended use of the product. NOT covered by warranty are any damages incurred during improper or unintended use of the product, including but not limited to: rough use, children using items unsupervised, excessive use, stains, improper care/use/washing.
