ADVENT ~ BEESWAX CANDLE ROLLING KIT with decorative wax

Our family, like many Waldorf families, celebrates the Four Lights of Advent leading up to Christmas. It is a time we really treasure as each week we enjoy slowing down during the hectic Christmas build up.

Each week you can light a candle on the Sunday and recite the verse while adding treasures to your table to reflect the weeks theme.

We add crystals, stones and shells the first week, plants and flowers the second, wooden and felted animals for the third week and finally in the fourth week we add our wooden, felted and peg doll people to our scene.

We love rolling our very own beeswax candles and these kits come with a selection of decorative wax in festive colours to decorate your handmade candles.

This is also a craft a child can do without too much adult supervision, maybe cutting the wax and wick if they are not confidant with scissors!

There is enough beeswax, decorative wax and wick in the kit to make either:

• 4 x small advent candles that fit celebration ring metal candle holders
• 2 x wider candles for gifting

OR

• 4 x wider advent candles for using in your own candle holders and advent displays or gifting.

In this kit you will receive:

• 72cm of wick
• 4 small sheets of beeswax (approx 10cm x 20cm)
• 4 squares of decorative wax (approx 4cm x 4cm)
  in either all silver OR mixed gold, silver OR mixed red, green, gold, silver
• Instructions of how to make your very own candles.

To ensure safety while candles are burning we recommend using our metal candle holders (sold separately) if using in a celebration ring or your own appropriate candle holder.
