This collection of soft gnomes has been lovingly created using linen which has been hand dyed using entirely natural materials.

These Waldorf inspired dolls have been left intentionally simple to encourage and stimulate a child’s imagination, the doll’s simple expression can easily reflect the child’s mood and creativity, allowing for full use of their imagination.

Only natural materials have been used, as these natural materials are gentle on the senses and they nourish a connection to the natural world for the developing child, and a sense of belonging. The wool filling allows the dolls to retain heat and absorb smells, allowing for feelings of familiarity and comfort.

Caring for your naturally dyed doll

Please do not put your doll in the washing machine. You can spot clean any small marks, or hand-wash as necessary with a gentle, PH-neutral wool detergent. Lie flat to dry in a well ventilated area in the shade.

Botanically dyed textiles, like all fabrics, will fade over time if left in direct sunlight. Natural dyes are sensitive to citric acids (found in lemons, grapefruit, oranges, tomatoes etc) which will ‘bleach’ the fibres.
